About RigCircuit

A source-led PC gaming publication built around clear decisions, repeatable checks and honest limits.

Scope

What we publish

RigCircuit covers PC gaming from the decision a player is actually facing. Every article belongs to one of four routes, and the route tells you what kind of answer to expect.

  • Guides cover in-game routes, early priorities and the choices that are hard to reverse.
  • Hardware covers published requirements, comparisons and where a real bottleneck sits.
  • Setups cover graphics settings, launchers, downloads and repeatable baselines.
  • News covers dated updates with the source, the context and the effect on players.

Method

How an article is built

Every published article names its sources and carries the date they were last checked. Sources are ranked before anything is written on top of them.

A publisher's own property, meaning an official game site, FAQ, changelog or support article, is the only source that can carry a specification, a date or a requirement on its own. Platform store listings are usable but they lag the publisher, they vary by region, and a mobile listing says nothing about a PC client. Community wikis, user forums, community platforms, video links and undated pages are not published as evidence.

When a figure has no matching source, it is removed or turned into a stated open question. Numbers are never rounded, extrapolated or filled in from memory.

Limits

What we do not claim

Stating a limit is more useful than hiding one. RigCircuit does not publish a benchmark, a frame rate, a latency figure or a product recommendation that has not been measured on a documented machine with a repeatable scene.

Where a publisher does not publish a value, the article says so rather than substituting a plausible one. Where an article still has open checks, those checks stay recorded against it.

Editorial

Who writes

Articles are written and reviewed by George Finley, editor and PC gaming tester. George documents repeatable PC tests, clear settings and practical tradeoffs for everyday players, which is the standard every route on this site is held to.
