How we review

The checks behind a RigCircuit article, the limits we state and the corrections we make.

Editorial approach

The question comes first

RigCircuit is a PC gaming site. We start with the decision in front of a player: whether a game update matters, which setting to change, what a PC needs or where a problem begins.

We do not force that decision into a score out of 100. A number can hide the important part. Each article explains what was checked, what the evidence supports and the next move that follows from it.

Evidence

Evidence before opinion

George Finley writes and reviews each route against named sources. Official game sites, support pages, changelogs and store listings can establish a date, a requirement or a published feature. The source and the date checked stay visible on the page.

When an official source does not answer the question, we say that plainly. We do not turn a forum post, a memory or a likely guess into a confirmed fact.

PC checks

PC checks have a boundary

For hardware and setup routes, a useful check has a defined machine, settings and repeatable scene. If those details are missing, an article does not present a frame rate, latency result or benchmark as measured.

Live-service games change quickly. An article records the build, source date or event date that it relies on. When a claim remains provisional, the page identifies the open check instead of giving it a false certainty.

Independence

Commercial lines stay clear

Advertising buys space on the site. It does not buy a source, a method or a conclusion. RigCircuit currently has no active affiliate link in an article.

If sponsored or affiliate links are introduced, they will be labelled and they will not change what an article says. Education articles remain free of commercial links. Read the full position in the affiliate disclosure.

Corrections

Corrections beat speed

Games, launchers and requirements change. When a source changes or a reader spots an error, we recheck the claim and update or correct it. The aim is a route a player can use, not a page that was merely first.

To report an issue, use the contact page and include the article, the claim and the source or situation that needs checking.

Follow updates

Keep up with the site

New coverage appears first in News. Guides, hardware checks and setup routes remain available by category when you need a practical next step.
