The World of Tanks: HEAT minimum row is a compatibility floor and the recommended row is a published reference point. Wargaming Player Support lists Windows 10 64 bit, DirectX 12, 8 GB of RAM and 60 GB of disk space at minimum, and the recommended row moves to 16 GB of RAM and an SSD. HEAT is a separate PC title from the standard World of Tanks client and has its own table.

Treat every value here as provisional. The title is early in its PC life, the support page was rechecked on August 28, 2026, and publishers routinely revise a requirements page during the months after a launch. This article does not borrow requirements from World of Tanks, World of Tanks Blitz or World of Tanks Modern Armor. RigCircuit has not benchmarked HEAT for this draft. No frame rate, frame time or graphics preset result is claimed.

Evidence

Official World of Tanks: HEAT PC requirements

The values below are the ones Wargaming Player Support displayed when the page was rechecked on August 28, 2026. They are reproduced without substitution or rounding, and they are the publisher's compatibility reference rather than a tested result for any named processor or graphics card.

Component Minimum Recommended
Operating system Windows 10 64 bit with the latest update Windows 10 64 bit with the latest update
Processor Intel Core i5-4670K or AMD Ryzen 3 2200G Intel Core i7-8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 5600X
Memory 8 GB RAM 16 GB RAM
Graphics NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 2 GB, AMD Radeon RX 560 2 GB or Intel Arc A310 4 GB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 6 GB, AMD Radeon RX 5600XT 6 GB or Intel Arc A750 6 GB
Minimum supported resolution Not separately specified Not separately specified
DirectX Version 12 Version 12
Internet Broadband connection Broadband connection
Storage 60 GB on an HDD 60 GB on an SSD

These values come from the official World of Tanks: HEAT system requirements page[1]. The support table is a compatibility reference. It does not provide a RigCircuit test result for each named processor or graphics card.

Storage values drift as a live client receives updates, and a table published this early in a game's life drifts faster than most. Keep free space above the listed 60 GB rather than treating it as a permanent installation ceiling, and recheck the support page on the publication date.

Context

What the minimum specification means

The minimum row requires a current Windows 10 64-bit installation, one of the listed processor references or a suitable equivalent, 8 GB of RAM, DirectX 12 and one of the listed graphics references. The storage row specifies 60 GB on an HDD, and the network row asks for broadband.

Meeting those fields does not establish a target resolution, preset, frame rate or frame-time behavior. The support page does not say that every minimum configuration produces the same result in every match. Use the row to screen for published compatibility, not to promise an experience.

The graphics row includes three different vendor families. Their VRAM amounts are not identical, so a comparison should retain both the exact model and the memory amount. A generic statement such as "any 2 GB GPU" is not supported by the table.

Context

The recommended row moves to 16 GB of RAM, names different processor and graphics references and changes the storage medium from HDD to SSD while keeping the listed capacity at 60 GB. DirectX 12 and broadband stay unchanged, and no target resolution, preset or frame rate is attached to the row.

The word recommended describes Wargaming's published row and nothing more. It is not a RigCircuit product ranking, it does not identify a best-value component and it does not rank the three named graphics families against each other. A named reference cannot be swapped for a retailer's generic tier, and a laptop card sharing a series name is not the desktop model, because power limit and cooling differ.

The SSD requirement also needs careful wording. The support page lists 60 GB on an SSD for the recommended row. It does not publish an update reserve, temporary unpacking figure or long-term growth estimate. Leave additional working space on the drive and recheck the launcher before a major update.

Section 04

HEAT is not the standard World of Tanks client

Wargaming's HEAT launch page[2] describes HEAT as a separate vehicle-combat experience. It lists PC access through Wargaming Game Center and Steam, as well as Steam Deck, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Steam listing[3] identifies Wargaming Group Limited as developer and publisher and dates the release to May 25, 2026.

The platform and release details explain why an article must name the client precisely. The standard World of Tanks site has another system requirements page and another game client. Do not copy its storage, CPU, GPU or operating-system values into this article.

Action plan

A PC compatibility checklist

Checking a computer against the HEAT table needs a written record of eight fields, because the published row mixes operating system, API, memory, storage medium and three separate graphics families. A system can hold enough memory and still fail on the operating-system or DirectX condition.

Record the exact machine before comparing it with the table:

  • Windows edition, version and 64-bit status.
  • CPU model and base platform.
  • GPU model, VRAM and driver version.
  • System RAM.
  • DirectX version reported by the system.
  • Available space and drive type for the installation.
  • Broadband connection and launcher route.
  • Wargaming Game Center or Steam client version.

Then check the minimum row field by field. A system can have enough RAM but still fail the operating-system or DirectX condition. A GPU can have the required VRAM amount but not be one of the listed models or a tested equivalent. The exact model record prevents those fields from being blurred together.

Action plan

Upgrade priorities for an existing PC

The following order is an editorial planning sequence based on the published requirements. It is not a benchmark ranking, and because the table is provisional this early in the game's PC life, confirm the current support page before acting on any of it.

Resolve the operating system and API first

Confirm Windows 10 64 bit with the latest update and DirectX 12. A component upgrade cannot replace an unsupported operating-system or API condition.

Check memory against the row you want to meet

The published minimum is 8 GB, while the recommended row is 16 GB. Verify the motherboard's supported memory type, module layout and maximum capacity before purchasing. Do not claim that moving to 16 GB guarantees a frame rate.

Compare the complete GPU reference

Record the exact GPU model and VRAM, then compare it with the listed minimum or recommended references. Keep desktop and laptop variants separate. A familiar series name does not prove equal power or cooling.

Review the CPU and motherboard together

The table names specific Intel and AMD processors. Confirm the full model, socket or platform and required firmware before treating an upgrade as practical. Do not choose a CPU from a broad generation label alone.

Choose the storage path

The minimum row lists 60 GB on an HDD. The recommended row lists 60 GB on an SSD. Reserve more than the displayed capacity for updates and temporary files, and verify the actual launcher message before installation.

Evidence record

Why these values need rechecking

HEAT reached PC on May 25, 2026 according to its Steam listing, which places this requirements table inside the window where publishers most often revise one. A specification published near a launch is provisional by nature, and treating it as final is the most common way a hardware article becomes wrong without anyone editing it.

Recheck the Wargaming support page on the publication date and after any major client update. If a value changes, update the table, the surrounding explanation and the source date together rather than one without the others.

Evidence record

What this draft does not claim

This article does not claim that a GTX 1050, RX 560 or Arc A310 reaches a particular frame rate. It does not claim that the recommended row guarantees a particular preset or resolution. It does not combine HEAT requirements with standard World of Tanks requirements, and it does not claim a current update reserve beyond the published 60 GB value.

A publishable revision needs a current client-build check and a fresh review of the official support table. A field-tested revision needs the exact PC, OS build, driver, API, launcher, game build, resolution, settings, scene, capture method and repeated results.
